How is the metal "backbone" of the dash attached to the cab? I see bolts on each side going into the "A" pillar wall but what about at the firewall?

it is welded on you have to cut to get it off

1/2 ton status
Its held on by spots welds to the windshield frame. Have to pull the windshield & seal to get at the welds.
Well now... that sucks.
