On my '91 Jimmy I didn't have any dash back lighting on the right hand side. Pulled it apart and replaced all the bulbs with LED's from Superlight as well as the sockets. Now I still don't have back lighting on the right side, but the right turn signal is out as well as the amber 4x4 lights and red seat belt and Brake light.
I rechecked all connections and cleaned all the contact points with no change. PCB looks in good shape as well.
Anyone have any ideas?

Nevermind, figured out my problems. One broken run on the PCB to the turn signal (fixed) and not all sockets created equal. Some of my new ones are for incandescent bulbs and have the wrong contact points for led

So how are the contacts different?
I put LEDs in my '90 and bought new sockets from NAPA.

Some of the sockets had the contacts on the thin outer edges whereas the LED's need them down the middle. Hope that made sense the way I described it

Odd....
Did you get new ones?
The NAPA part is LS6500.

Also keep this in mind. LED's are polarity sensitive. If they don't work one way, pop them out, rotate 180 and put back in. Try it again.
