Dash Light-Tandem Lock???? WHAT?

A light came on in the cluster under the gas gauge on my '71. It says Tandem Lock. My brakes were getting a little mushy....so I am going to start looking at them. What does tandem lock mean?

the only thing that comes to mind is powering the 2nd set of drive axles on a semi...
I don't imagine you have 2 rear axles though, so I dunno.

Means the gauge panel came out of a 3 axle truck. Pretty common when guys were chasing tach dash from big trucks. Now what it's wired to is the another question.
