Trying to improve the visibilty of gauges at night but not remove dash.
1972 Blazer with Tach.
Indicators: 2 bulbs for turn signal and 2 bulbs for idiot lights
Gauges: 2 bulbs on speedo side and 2 bulbs on fuel gauge side.

Am I missing any?

Thanks,
Tbruz

That sounds right....IIRC the tach gets residual light from the other two gauges and doesn't have any of it's own bulbs.

You can use 168 bulbs in place of the 194 bulbs to get more light and 161 bulbs to get less light.

161=1CP (candle power)
194=2CP
168=3CP

All three bulbs have the same wedge-type mounting configuration

I use 168 bulbs for illumination and warning lights. I use 194 for turn signal indicators and I use a 161 bulb for high beam indicator lamp because it is usually very dark when running with high beams on.
