dash pad caps ebay

posted this in interior and got no response...thought i might get a little better response here:

hey was looking around on ebay for dash pads and ran across "dash pad caps". they say you can't even tell the difference when a cap is installed. wondering if anybody has used them and what they thought, pics would be great!

There was a thread a couple of days ago about "caps", said they were ok, but not that great. I believe LMC truck sells those as well.

If I was to buy one I would deal with these people I have bought other parts from them and they are good people. The parts I got worked right and fight like OEM.

I used one of the caps because it was guaranteed to never crack. Getting a new dash pad is way more money and will eventually crack again. I think the brand name was "Coverlay"? It doesn't look 100% stock because the speaker holes are different - to help hide whatever is underneath. It does, however, look 10^6 x better than the original split open dash. No problems in about 5 years so far. You can only tell it's a cap by looking at the very ends of the dash when the doors are open.
