Kert at diy4x cut me this. It will sit a touch higher than it is hanging in this pic.

Nice, we were talking about it last week but I never did get to see it.

BTW - I dig the sticker on your dash in combination with the carbon fiber pedals :D

the CF pedal is leftover from my 83 chevy, I needed a throttle cable that fit my engine so I just robbed the whole assembly.... but yes a little irony there...

Simply mounts by screws through the sheet metal?

Looks good, I need to do something like that too, P/O hacked the hella outta my dash.

I will cut a big square hole in the dash then drill the 4 1/4 inch mounting holes and use some those speed nuts to holed it to dash then you can drop the whole panel to do any wiring work and it also moved the CD player up and eliminated the ash tray

I'm a programmer for a laser shop. I should do somthing like that.
Damn, IGOR is my boss, i hope he doesn't read this post. I'm post to be working :D

got it installed finally tonight.

I've just cut holes for extra gauges is all along the bottom and when I have some cash and time I'll put a new tach and speedo where the large gauges are currently

You got me thinking about how freakin ugly my dash was, so I followed your lead and did one for myself.

Not finished, still need to wire it all back in and mount it but this is one days work.

looks good, got a pic of the folded over part underneath?

Looks good Kurt. I was wondering if you were gonna take MNorby's lead when you asked on the other forum.

<hijack> What's the red arrow thingy used for? I've seen them before in build pics. <\hijack>

teh red arrow deal is a magnet for holding things while fabricating/welding.

Correct, only quick way I had of holding it in place for the pics, now it's duct tape holding it in.
