that hasn't been ruled out.. i really should have made a mold.. i do have the templates tho... unfortunately they'd prolly be in the 200 to 300 range no prob with the cost of materials.. now if i pulled it and made the mold, they could prolly be done for 1/2 that...

With a mold, that would be a great price. It'd be cheaper that a stock repro from LMC. I was planning on getting the brushed aluminum replacement bezel from covanclassics.com whenever I get that far in my buildup, but tilted gauges would be ten times better even without being aluminum (my husband would appreciate it at least, I'm so short I can see them fine even without the tilt). What kind of paint did you use on the rings? I must say that's the best looking custom dash/gauge setup I've seen, and I've searched through a lot of pics on a lot of sites. I can't wait to see the entire interior when your "finished" with it.

from this angle it looks like the "face" of the speedo is recessed abot 3/8ths of an inch deeper into the guage than the face of the tach, dose it look wierd at all to you?
like from the side you can tell but can you tell from looking at it normal?

The inner housing is silver instead of blacked out like the tach if that is what you are talking about. It does look weird and should be blacked out.

ya i noticed that to, but it still loks like it sits a little deeper
mabye its just me :D

Looks great. The rockers are going to make it look clean and you still have room for to more guages ( maybe a clock and a 2nd volts for dual battery). A little late, but you could also go with smaller led's to make it a little more sleek. Again it is nice to see some good glass work.

I know this is off subject, but surpip have you been up to Rollins lake? I am taking the family there for some camping and fishing Memorial day weekend. Going to make a test run towing the new 27' trailer behind the k5. Trying to keep the 1st run somewhat local.

i never even saw that till i took the pics... the flash definitely makes that look funny.. you dont see it at all really just sitting in the truck.. its under the lens from the factory..

i did leave myself some flexibility in the layout.. the 2 indicator lights on the right where put there with the intention that i may move them out for any additional gauges down the road.. i run a digital clock down in the console. eventually i may run an air/fuel over on that side...

thanks for props everyone, it makes it all worthwhile..

Ya man its bitchin, makin a mold and making some dash panles may just net you a good side bis.

That dash looks great. In one of the pics it looks like another gauge on the hood- left over??

good eye. :waytogo: mechanical fuel pressure.. didn't wanna splurge for an isolator.. eventually it'll be under the back lip of a cowl induction.. eventually... ;)
