I bought the truck of my dreams an 85 GMC extended cab short bed it was a custom built show truck. I am in the process of taking it apart for a complete rebuild for my daughter as her first truck. The problem is the truck was built with a 96 suburban dash but it just is falling apart and just does not fit they was I want it to and the wiring is trashed. I like the factory dash and that is what I will be putting back in but the problem is the previos builder cut the old dash out with an air chisel along the windshield does ayone have any pics of the metal structure of the dash where the windshield and dash meet. I will end up buying a parts truck for the dash and other misc parts but I just want to know what I am getting into.
