Dash replacement

I ordered a dash from http://www.carpartsdiscount.com who is a dealer for dashesdirect.com. I was pretty tired of looking at the cracks.

Cost was $299 for the OER model which is $40 bucks cheaper then LMCs.


I had to do some trimming on the edges and file out a couple of the front panel mounting holes. Other then that it fits really well. It has the metal sub straight so there is no sagging. I'm letting it warm up sitting in the window and will get it painted this afternoon when it warms up.

That looks like a rather good repo. I've rad a lot of bad reviews about them so never bought one. Is it just like the original?
 
Man a nice dash just totally cleans up the look of one of these trucks.

I suppose its cause most of us are used to multiple cracks
 
It warmed up a bit today so I dyed/painted it. One thing is for sure... 21 years is a lot of fading!!!
