Daughters 01 24 valve Dodge

It's 2 C and raining here Dave. Was 1 C and snowing like a bastard (but not sticking) all day yesterday.

It's a youtube and CK5 day for sure!

I get that I’m taking a break myself. Been a pretty busy last couple weeks. And I have to go back to work tonight dammit

Yesterday I finished the Hvac swap from the parts truck to Kate’s Cummins. That’s a big sucky job! Probably spent 6 hours on it. But I also replaced the cracked dash with the mint one from the other truck.
That’s even more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
I had to kneel on the seat reach over the dash and with a mirror and a magnetic screwdriver undo all the screws holding the dash cover to the frame. Extra awesome to do the reinstall and try not to break the replacement cover.

Looks nice now, and the heater and all the controls work as they should. The air conditioning can wait till next summer.

Is the crankcase breather on the front of the engine behind the fan? I parted out a 00 24 valve, the crankcase breather was on the accessory drive cover and the radiator was a oily mess.

I believe it is... a buddy of mine has a 99 24 valve and he was telling me he had to replace the rad cause it was plugged up. He put a extension on his.
This one has a extended hose on the blow by tube as well.

I put the parts truck back together so that it runs and I can move it off the driveway... probably try to sell the engine. Nice if a guy can see it run first.
I just started it and my wife comes out to see me, I said hey it runs. But it won’t go in gear? I look at the t case. Hang on... yeah it was in neutral! Ha that was a easy fix!
Anyone want to buy a 318? Way cooler than a LS swap! Lol!

A few days ago I took the serp belt off trying to find the squeak coming from the front.Gave everything a spin and a shake, the only thing I found to be a bit noisy was the pulley on the tensioner.
Bought a new one and a new belt. Its quiet now.

Now its got on low beam out and I see a leak from the passengers side front, that I think is just the over flow bottle for the rad.
Oh and Its snowing again! Gives me a chance to work on Kates truck today I guess.

Cows don't get milked when it snows?

Lol! Yeah those girls are relentless...we where busy doing corn silage the last three days...snow put that to a halt. So I got some free time today and her truck is home.
Oh, how I don't miss my milking days. Never a day off. They really seem to know when your hungover to. Always seem like they want to give you some extra problems. I would assume in a modern dairy like yours, you have a double 6,8,or 12 parlor, or a carousel. But I have never milked in one. Just a 60 stanchion barn.
Anyway it always seem like they want to kick the milkers off a few extra times when your under the bottle flu
