Daughters 01 24 valve Dodge

The 35s rubbed on the front and they didn’t have a ton of tread left. Looked cooler with them though.
The 33’s drive way better. I’ll see if we can talk her into a 2” lift and 35s again.
She should have known hard packed snow drifts are a bitch to drive through! Lol!

We sold The box off the parts truck yesterday. Payed 600.00 for the truck, got 680.00 for the box and her old dented back bumper! :D

She will probably get rear ended tomorrow. That's at least how my life works at least.
None the less, it's always cool when you can make out good on a deal like that.:waytogo:

Yeah thanks Brian! That’s my luck too... be Focked if i didn’t have a nice clean spare box for my duramax that I sold and needed one year later! :doah: Hopefully I won’t regret selling this one.

Hoping to get some heat in the old dodge for Kate.
The cummins starts like its summertime even at - 30c but it’s -30c in the cab too, no seat heat... good thing she is a tough kid!
I’ve got my fingers crossed this works!? Don’t feel like pulling the dash for a new heater core again! :doah:

Maybe it’s time find a heated seat cushion....I picked one up for the old lady’s car from a liquidation store the other day. Seems to work alright for $15...eh

Still not much heat... truck sits outside at -30 yeah she’s cold. Wanted to make sure the heater and all controls where working as good as they could... It was not.
The fan would only run on high, I replaced the fan motor with one out of the 1500 parts truck, the one in the cummins was really stiff and hard to turn by hand. Still only had high speed. Swapped in a different fan relay that I had. Now the fan works on all speeds again.

It had a zero heat recerculating block heater on it, It was plumbed into the return side of the heater core lines?? Whatever! I took it out and made the lines factory. Checked the lines going the the heater, working as should. Than I was reading a 200f thermostat out of a 6.7 Cummins will help with the heat. 90.00 from the dealer. Found a Stant for 30.00. We took it for a short drive yesterday and it seems to be working great. I’ll find out latter when Kate gets back home from school if it helped.

So while it was in the garage I was checking all fluids and noticed the frond drive staft was totally Focked at the CV. I could hear it when I drove it in the garage. Found a used one for 200.00, But first I did some measureing. Turns out the 1500 shaft is identical to the 2500 What luck for Kate! Rolling around in the snow under the 1500 at -15c when it was -30c two hours before the removal was my luck!:doah:

The CV from the parts truck has a bit of play in the CV but it will be ok for now.

That`s good to know.

The one I put in there has a chunk of the porcelain broke off the corner you can see a little bit of the element that is inside of it. You think I should swap it out asap?
