i'm going to give directions from the tri-valley area, adjust for your location.
from the 580/680 interchange, go east on 580, over the altamont. take the split to los angeles (I5 south). go past 132, past westley. the next little town is called patterson. the exit is sperry ave into patterson, del puerto canyon if you go the other way. i'm almost positive it's state route 17. there's a jack in the box, am/pm mini mart, and some motels on the east side of the freeway. we can meet in the parking lot, then travel west on del puerto canyon 17 miles to the park.
burt4X4: just take 132 west, I5 south, and you're there.
i called the park yesterday, and they said they're having a trials bike meet that weekend, but there should be campsites open. i'll call again today to make sure we can wheel. i don't think i'll be staying the night out there, but they have spots with bbq pits and tables and all that. but with the bike fest, they might be taken. as long as we can play in the dirt, i'll be happy.
