06 Ram. Swapped all brakes about a month ago, not sure if this matters.

At speeds over 60 and I apply my brakes, the front end shakes and wobbles pretty bad. It just started all of a sudden.

Can I get some troubleshooting ideas. The wife and kids drive on the interstate daily in this so I need to get it fixed asap.

Thanks

What condition were/are the rotors in? If the rotors are warped, the truck will bounce and buck whenever you hit the brakes.

I checked them over visually and they looked ok then. I guess I can pull them off this evening and check.

I also changed the wheel hub assembly on my passanger side. I had a bearing out. I guess I need to go back and check all the bolts to make sure nothing came loose.

2 troubleshooting steps so far, anyone else?

My 06' Ram developed a similar symptom... I checked everything over and didn't see anything wrong with it. Eventually, I decided to change out the rotors and pads in the front and problem was solved. I guess what I'm saying is that minimal rotor warpage (not present to the naked eye) can cause some pretty violent shaking.

However, when you say 'wobble' are you talking about a shake or pulse when brakes are applied? or are you saying that the front WOBBLES like death wobble?

Also, what Ram do you have? 1500, 2500, 3500?... the 2500 and 3500's with the straight axle had some death wobble issues. I upgraded my 3500 to the latest and greatest steering set up and steering is much better.

1500. Its a pretty good wobble side to side in the front end and you can feel it through the steering wheel. This is only at higher speeds.
