1/2 ton status
I went to work one day (construction operator) and i noticed the guy we were working for had a 73 chevy c-10 sitting there. I was joking with him and asked him if he wanted me to haul it off for him. he said yea you want it? he said it ran 3 months ago and just quit. so i got me a 73 chevy. he said it was willed to him and he had no interest in it. in the glove was a ton of recipts. heres the skinny
1973 chevy c-10
long bed
stock 350 rebuilt in 2010 by midas
brand new 2" exaust from a local muffler shop
new brakes last year
new shocks last year
and registered until 2013 so $0 back fees.
I havnt even got through all the receipts yet so there may be more. I already changed the oil, spark plugs and wires. i got a new battery for it but it wont turn over. i think i got the firing order wrong. going to try again tomorrow. (the rats chewed the wires down to the plugs)
