I have to oppourtunity to pick up a SM465 and a NP 205 for $350 total. I all comes out of a '80 1 Ton 4x4 that had a 350 that crapped out. Thinking about going through with it. Its a good deal aint it

Chances are it's a slip yoke. Unless it was swapped in. Pretty sure that every t-case in 80 had a slip yoke.

I should have said, factor in the cost of a fixed yoke conversion if that is what you are after.
