Boy i have been on a roll this year
Started with a one owner 91 blazer that was all stock ( 160k miles) and just needed paint, that one kind of got away from me but when its finally finished it will be bad ass
Then i found a one owner 88 3/4 ton suburban 4x4 with 150k miles good paint needs nothing so what the heck why not it will be great to pull the boat if i put a big block in it
Looking for a big block i find a 89 Crew cab Dually 4x4 with 105k miles and it needs a few things but damn it looks good so what the heck add to the collection
Thought i was done but can't help looking and what do i find but a 91 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban one owner with 77k miles not to far away so what the heck may as well take a look ( i knew better )
of course just like the others it is a california truck so no rust straight body been in the garage its whole life so factory paint is in great condition, the gentleman is 80 years old and can't see good enough to drive, i wasn't even sure what it should be worth. he was asking $7k but such i nice rig i couldn't walk away

I wish they all could be California trucks...

You must be single or married to one hell of a broad!

That's a nice looking square burb!

Sometimes when the deal is right, you just have to get it and figure it out. Just two months ago my oldest brothers father-in-law called me back in Colorado and said he was looking to sell his 99 Dodge 3/4 ton Cummins truck (quad cab short bed, body in fantastic shape, 250k miles and motor runs real good, but needs an auto tranny rebuild). It wasn't the right time to buy a truck but I asked him what he wanted for it and he said to make him an offer. I low-balled on purpose just to try and get him to say no and he would just list it on craigslist or something, so I said $2500 and he said sure, hahaha! Even after the tranny rebuild I'm doing I could still turn around and sell it on the diesel bro market for double what I'll have into it! So yeah, I said I'll take it and I've been working with my other bro and getting it back up here to ID (which will happen next week). Here is a pic of it when my brother loaded it up and brought it back to his house in CO.
