Trying to get a truck together for a mud bog we needed a 3.73 6 lug rear. I had this old 12 bolt that someone junked because of the spiders. Welded spiders and took for drive and still acted open. Put back on lift and found that the s haft was spinning in the side gear and the splines were fubared. Since it was junk anyways we tried wleding the shaft to the gear and center pin and to everything. I didnt anticipate it lasting so did my diff cover salute to this axle and put back on the ground. Backed out of shop and it acted locked. Put in 1st and it rolled ok. Blirped throttle and heard a pop then looked back and no more rear shaft. Saw that coming. Need to find another 3.73 rear again.
