In August I acquired the dreaded death wobble. The bushings were less than a year old so I blew that off. I re-torqued the entire front end, checked the spring perches and camber/castor angles etc. All without pulling the bushings and it was still there, I just dealt with it.
Reluctantly last week I purchased the ORD bushing and shackle kits for the entire front springs. http://offroaddesign.com/catalog/hdshackles.htm - I say reluctantly because I was in denial about the possibility of the bushings being bad and also because I have 8" Superlift springs that use a goofy size bushing and was pretty certain I'd have to send them back because they'd be the wrong size.
I installed them in 2 hours on Friday night, test drove on Saturday bounced 1/2 way through Kings Canyon (glacier type ice hiding the road and wife getting nervous - Ok I was too) drove all day Saturday and never had DW once.
