My buddy took these videos of my truck doin the wobble and sent them to me over here. Figured some of ya'all might find them interesting. He thinks it's some funny shiit, just listen to him giggle. :haha: The first video shows what it drives like with no death wobble goin on. The rest are self explanatory. :eek1:

Does that truck already have the aftermarket steering brace installed?

His comment about being able to turn the wheel and not get any actual results had me wondering if the frame is cracked in the steering box area?? :dunno:

His giggles are funny... by the time you get home that truck will probably have shaken hundreds of dollars of loose change out of his pockets!! That death wobble may end up financing a lot of the build, especially if you can get him to carry some friends around with him.

No idea on the steering brace. You're probably right about the cracked frame though. I've already ordered both the weld on and bolt on braces from ORD, so that'll get addressed when I get back. In my quest for a death wobble free truck, I've also ordered the bronze king pin bushings from CM Performnce Machine, springless x-over arms from Balistic Fab, king pin rebuild kits from WFO and new tie rod, drag link and end kits from ORD.

His giggles were even funnier when I played it over and over from right where he starts giggling....when you listen to the giggles over and over again, it gets even funnier. :haha::haha:

I've got play in the steering wheel just like that, it's slop in the rag joint causing it. I don't have any death wobble though.

My experience with DW has always been much faster and violent. I had no idea it could be slow like that.

Well, if it is the rag joint, I've got an XJ shaft ready to get installed as well. This should be one hell of a tight steering truck after all these damn expensive parts. :eek1:

I do not giggle in any way when it happens on my truck!

It almost seems manageable when he is driving it. With my unbalanced 40's when it kicks in it doesn't stop until the truck is completely stopped, and it is not driveable at all :haha:

Been there done that with the old truggy....It's frickin weird to have death wobble at under 5mph. :eek1::crazy:

Before I re-did the Blazer, it had some serious DW...

It was violent, it would kick from side to side and I had no control of the rig...

So, I did the most logical thing...

I cut it into pieces and totally rebuilt the thing...:haha:
