I was thinking of getting some Beard super seats xtra tall xtra wide too put in my truck with a tuffy console in the middle. My problem was either getting the street seats with my stock belts or the regular super seat with the harness slots. Ive never been a big fan of the harness but was wondering if maybe they would look off with just the stock belts? Anyone run a similar setup and have any input would be great. I also could get the super seat and just not use the slots for the harness but i thought that would look off too.

i just ordered some corbeau ultra ss's and im very happy with them, are you attaching the seats to a cage?

yea I was going to have the cage built to mount to the original bench seat bolt holes. then have a plate welded between the seats to mount the tuffy box on the cage. Ive been reading some more and figure the original belts should be fine but i might have to ge a differnt style that i can run through the slots in the seats.

I'm using my stock 3-point belt with the slots in my Mastercraft seat; my cage is mounted to the body, seat mounted in stock location. I find that a 4-point harness is just too impractical in a truck like mine that sees a fair amount of city and highway, and I don't feel like putting a crossbar on the B-pillar part of the cage (to mount the shoulder belts of the harness) because it would eliminate access to the back seat completely. The only issue that I can see is that the Mastercraft seat is narrower than the stock seat; consequently, the buckle of the stock belt comes up a little bit too far to the middle of the seat.

imo if you are going through the trouble of putting in a cage with nice seats you should o ahead and get harnesses to take full advantage of the safety, you can always get the camlock ones that are much quicker to get in and out of

X2 also you may want to save some wad by checking out corbeu seats. Baja, baja ss, and ultra ss.

I have a nice tuffy locking center console. This sits on a custom mount frame built of square tubing suitable for mounting aftermarket seats. I want to replace all this with a pickup bench seat and am willing to trade for such. Any takers? I will be at Blazer Bash.
