Decent Deal?

Looking into buying a 1990 k5 for $1000. 196k miles on it, completely stock and running. Comes with an 89 K5 for parts. The 89 has a running engine but that's about it. What do you think? I was considering parting out the 89 if anyone was interested.

Look very closley at the body, especially floors. I bought my 89 last November for $850 92,000 miles and run great. But the body was in much worse condition than I originally thought. the floors were trashed, and got even worse after I wheeled at the badlands. There's nothing like some off-camber crawling and feeling the floors move up and down !!

Like it was mentioned earlier, check the body good for rot. If the rust is not to bad then you should be ok.

and if the body is not ok id buy it any way and when the rot gets unbarable ditch the body and tube it out make a buggy out of it lol
