My muffler is just about falling off. Can anyone recomend a muffler off sleazebay? I don't need anything to fancy but something decent would be nice.

I run a single Magnaflow #11259, it's not exactly cheap since it's stainless though. I like it because it's moderately quiet, I've had loud Flowmasters before but I want to be able to talk while riding in this truck. :rotfl:

I'm running a single factory style 3" system with a Flowmaster 50 series. Seems kinda loud. Sounds good, just loud. I won't do that again.

higher the number basicly in flowmaster = less noise.

in a burban/blazer = min 50 or better cause of rpm noise harmonics make bad inside noise.

if truck or crew cab then make sure muffler is at least past the back of the cab no place under it or same problem as blazer/burbans .

my last 3 flowmasters were ebay or here light used take off or just didnt want new no box. got each @ half price of new included shipping to me. so search.

Im running dynamax and am more than happy with it. I had FlowMaster 40series even with cats it was just too loud for my taste.

I'm running dual Flowmaster 50 series SUV. Runs great, but a little louder than I wanted.

Thanks checked ebay its $92 that's not bad at all. I might pick that one up.

Dynomax ultra flow welded or thrush welded's for this guy. They seem to work pretty good, and the thrush are quite reasonably priced.

Cherry Bomb or Thrush turbo mufflers, or the Dynomax Super Turbo, are relatively inexpensive and come in a variety of inlet/outlet configurations. They don't sound bad, either - not too loud, not too quiet, IMO.

Then again, I'm running a Flowmaster Original 40 on my Blazer, so I pretty much think everything else is quiet by comparison.

Go to my Photobucket page (see sig), there's at least one video to give you an idea of the way it sounds.

I ended up buying the same muffler paid $80 for it on ebay. I'll let you know what I think once I get it installed. Thanks!!

I’ve got dual Cherry bomb Turbo Mufflers and am not a big fan of them. Way too quiet at idle, decent under heavy acceleration but then to quiet again. I don’t want anything too loud but a little bit of a rumble would be nice.

Installed muffler today it sounds great. It's got a nice throaty tone but its not over wehlming at all.

i have headers with dual 2.5in flowmasters that dump right before my axle in my k5, i love the sound. it rumbles at an idle and it gets deep and loud when you get on it
