Guys,

I did my first datalog session on tuner pro rt to try to decipher why my truck is hard starting and lacking power after a TBI swap. The motor is a 350 with rebuild TBI, new fuel pump, fuel filter and AFI harness. I see the error message by the o2 sensor rich, does that mean my new O2 sensor is bad? Also, not real sure what my values should be as far as TPS, MAP and IAC. Any help would be appreciated. Going to keep searching and reading to try to gain a better understanding of all the values.

Thanks
Ray

The BLM is saying lean, your O2 sensor voltage indicates rich at that point. But the ECM updates faster than it displays data, so the O2 voltage SHOULD swing from high to low while it's in closed loop operation.

Do you have an actual datalog of it running? You've got more knock counts than I'd expect see, but without seeing how you got to that point, it's not real indicative as to cause.

Not likely to be related to the O2 error, but is your base timing set properly? 0*, then reconnect the EST bypass wire?

The engine a stock TBI motor?

A datalog of what is happening will help a lot.

The biggest causes of low power on a TBI swap is incorrect timing and low fuel pressure. Make sure they are correct before logging anything.
