I've decided to drop back to 33" tires and I'm trying to decide which ones. Right now it's between the Firestone Destination MT and the BFG Mud TA which is what I've got now in 35's. They are the same money and I've been happy with the BFG's but the Firestones get a much better rating in all categories. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surve...3X&ratio=12.5&diameter=15&VT=null&sortValue=0 They are gonna be on the road 80% of the time and I use the Suburban as a tow veh. for our atvs when we go out of town riding. Any opinions between these two? Also, the BFG's are 32.8" tall and 21/32" deep and the Firestones are a true 33" tall and 22/32" deep

I had 33" BFG muds on my '73 and really liked them off road. However, I did mostly street driving and they were not the best option. Wet roads weren't all that good. Ice and snow not good at all unless deep snow....now I see you're in Mississippi, so no problem with that. They were tons better in mud than the all terrains, so I guess if you have them in mud when you do go off road it makes sense.

Never had the firestones, but they just look like an older version of the BFGs.
