Ok ive been trying for a few days from various sites trying to find out what this motor is its a chevy motor with the ram horn manifolds so im guessing 60's its out of an old chevy stake truck I was told its a 350 4 bolt main.

So maybe someone here can help me

The stamped number on the passenger side cylinder head is VO225 and the number on the block by the flange the transmission bolts to is 3956618 and there was another number in the block down by the crank in the rear of the motor that is 371 386

about all i can find out is it was built in the flint engine plant

I'd be very very careful about making sure what exactly it is. that casting number 3956618 is a few configurations on the list I have. of '68-'69 engines. but the mighty '69 Z-28 302 was also a 3956618 casting. along with a '69 Vette 327 and some '69 350s.

And really in this day and age, its pretty irrelevant what vehicle it came out of. 99 times out of 100 its not stock for the vehicle anyways. maybe someone wrecked their Z-28 or Vette and decided to plonk the engine into the old truck to hotrod it. who knows. or alternately its just regular old '69 350 out of a full body car.

The book I got says that it is 68/79 Truck and High perfomance applications (4 bolt mains)

Hope that helps.

Edit better listen to Demon

what size bore and stroke is a 350

yeah i dont know it belongs to the farmer I work for dont know that I can trust his 76 year old brain truck was around for a long time one of the first bigger stake trucks he bought old flatbed C-50

he says its a 350 but I know they swapped motors and transmissions in alot of there old stake trucks buy 3 and make one good one.

350: 4" bore, 3.48" stroke...
327: 4" bore, 3.25" stroke...
