Decoding numbers

My neighbor has a 72 GMC truck and we can find the vin and decode it, but the model number that you find on the rpo tag on the glove box door is missing (complete tag is missing) is there any other way to find out if the truck has the original bed and axles and such still on it?

Good luck with out finding the RPO sheet.... I've been looking for the past 5 years on two K-5's and haven't found out anything yet.... If I run accross someplace that might help I'll pass it on.... If you find anything can you do the same.... Thanks
