Deisel exhaust question

My old man has a 6.2 deisel and wants to make it sound a little more rumbly... What would be a good muffler for it? Any performance issues here? I know jack about deisels so I said I would ask some people that know. Also got my exhaust leak fixed on my DD yesterday. Sweet sound of silence. Not to many sounds worse than an exhaust leak...

I have seen a 6.2 with dual exhaust with 40 series Flowmasters and it sounded great.

I put afterburners by flowtech on my 6,2. Sounds troaty, once it gets moving people think I have a gasser in her!

Dont most people put single exuast on deisels? like 5in or is that just on turbo diesels?

Single exhaust, say 4" with a dynomax race bullet muffler. My buddy runs straigh 4" into a massive 6" tip behind his right rear tire. My friend got him the end of a mack truck stack and he cut it off and put it as a tip, it looks wicked. Thats a 7.3L Ford though. My friend has duall cherry bombs on a 69 Chevy K20 with a 6.2L(he put it in in replace of the 350).
