Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

From the one pic i got to work it looks nice.
PS what wheels are you running with those 42's??

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

the pics worked a moment ago. it is the stupid imagestation.

they are stock humvee rims on a dually 60 front & a rear dually 70HD w/single wheel 14 bolt hubs.

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

looks good /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

Whats the trick to getting those 14bff hubs on that d70?? DOes it keep you from having to use spacers?? POOHBAIR has the same axles and wheels but dosnt want to run spacers in the rear.

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

a dually & c&c truck use hubs that the wheel mounting surface is set in farther than it is on a single wheel 14 bolt. the hubs all use the same bearings & swap out no problem the single wheel hubs will widen your dually axle by about 2" per side if i remember right. any how it made my drw 60 & my 70 within a 1/4 inch of the same wms-wms

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

oh yeh no spacers when you swap hubs

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

Ok im following so far, now what about brakes? You cant use the same drums can you? Im trying to figure this out. If you move the WMS out 2", then so does the backing plate have to go with it?? Assuming a guy whated to run drums...
Sorry this is a little off topic but now im curious.

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)

added links but i don't think that imagestation will let u see them unless u are a member. imagestation use to work fine all the time but here lately it gives the big nasty "x"
. what web site has free hosting that works w/ outside linking?

white rhino u can not run drums anymore if u swap the hubs u will have to go to a disc brake set up. u will also need to get weld on caliper brackets cause the bolt on ones will not line up either.

Re: another new frt bumper post (opinions welcome)
