I pulled up my carpet and put down the LMC rubber flooring. It is 2 pieces (front and back sections). I am now going to go with LIne X and I wont need the rubber flooring. The back is perfect and only needed minimal fitting (cutting). THe front turned out ok, but not perfect. THe fit isnt as precise as I wanted to. THe edges dont go all the way to the sides, they are off like 1/2 inch here and there. But it covers 99% of it all.

This is a HEAVY item, so shipping would be killer and would have to go UPS ground. Id prefer local pickup. But will ship at buyers expense. I dont want to chuck this as its in really good shape. Only went off roading once since put it in, so it hasnt even gotten dirty yet. lol. Can get pics of my install if need be.

Thanks.

Could you please send me pics of the install? So when you say they dont go all the way to the sides do you mean that they dont tuck under the doorsill plates? Or do you just mean in the back area?

Thanks,

Wes

The rear cargo area is perfect there is no fit issues there.

The front section is where I had issues. The main place it doesnt cover 100% is at the top, near the firewall. It goes well above the foot well area, but doesnt go up under the dash so to speak. Ill get some pics. soon and post them in this thread talking about. Where the door seal plates go is fine, it tucked up under there just fine. The area behind the front seats was fine as well. The worst part is the drivers side where the kick panel is. The rubber wants to bow up and doesnt want to lay flat. If someone knows how to get the humps and lumps out of HD rubber than itll take out the slack and actually fit better. If you can get the rubber to lay flat and smooth it out, itll cover the areas I couldnt get it to cover. This rubber is THICK and HEAVY. The front also comes with sound deadener, the back cargo area does not. I also dont have the back wheel covers. I just left the carpet and didnt want to fool with them.

I would really be serious about purchasing that rubber floor mat but your front seat is different than mine in the way that it tips forward. The front seats in my '88 K5 slide forward and I worry that there would be a large hole where that seat catch is in your floorboard. Could you give me a ballpark figure of what you would want for your rubber floor mat?

Thanks so much,

Wes

I figured 1/2 what I paid. which was 300bux. So $150bux for the front and back and the insulation under the front.

That seat catch was cut out , so there would be a square hole. But ive got extra pieces of this rubber that you could slip under the main rubber an glue it together, if you did a good job you wouldnt notice. That is the only big chunck of flooring that was cut out. other than the 4x4 selector.

Thanks for posting the pics and everything but I think I'm gonna have to pass due to shipping. If I lived close I would most likely purchase from you and pick up.

Thanks,

Wes
