Thanks guys. At this price, I am taking a big loss. At the same time, I realize that this is a lot of money for a 1977 truck, so...Anyway, a few more pics.

I'd take that in a hear beat if I had the funds, that is a heck of a deal. Agreed, don't settle for a penny less!

Has anyone snapped this up yet? Is the body as rust-free as it appears to be in the pics? It looks like a hell of a bargain for 8K.

People buy a basic K5 got a couple of grand, then dump thousands and thousands of dollars into the thing from bumper to bumper (and then there's the blood and sweat of the project), when they could have one like this, with all the big basics (and not-so-basics) already done and drive it home.

So true. Exactly what I look for when I'm buying a vehicle. Let the other guy put the time and money into it first. Just for starters, there are over $3,000 just in tires and rims on this truck.

I'm flabbergasted that this isn't sold yet, for a hair less than 8 grand. I haven't see pics (nor would I ask for them, not being a serious shopper at the moment) of the interior or of the underside, but from what I can see, it looks like a truck of the month for some 4x4 calendar or the result of a build-up article at a 4x4 magazine. It's well-built for serious off-road duty (or as a really over-built mall-crawler).

It's at least 500 miles from me, but I'd have at least checked it out in person if I was in my area.

So, in the way of bumping this fine machine, does it have a good, clean title? Is it street legal? Are there any rust bubbles under that white paint?

This is a clean, semi-daily driver (I have a 98 3/4 ton Suburban), no rust bbbles, etc. Cean title. Here's some more pics.

Comes with a full top and a snap on tonneau cover to run with the roof off. The cover seals pretty good. I also have some racing seats that bolt into the back.

In the way of another bump, and what might seem an odd question for a machine of this type, was this truck ever equipped with air conditioning?

I didn't see a compressor or a condensor box under the hood, but I thought I'd ask, just in case a potential buyer might want to retrofit AC, they might find that the original dash controls would be handy to have in place.

BTW, I just noticed that it has disc brakes on the rear. :waytogo:

This vehicle never had A/C. However, I do have a new A/C compressor (with hoses) and all the mounting hardware for a BBC that I can include.
