Its got 107,000 original miles on the truck. Around 25-30K on its second, rebuilt motor.
Since I've had the truck (for over 10 years now), I've replaced the tranny once, 3 sets of tires, 1 set of wheels, and too many starters. The starter problem was due to the remanufactured units in which I've only paid for the first one. The rest were all lifetime warrantees. I think I may have replaced the starter 8 times. No problems with it now.
The truck runs good and pulls good. The gas is just terrible on this thing. Its my daily driver right now. I can drive the 20 gallon tank right around 100 miles and then fill up again. Sucks, eh?
My bottom dollar is $7000. This is the amount it would take to get me to sell it and forget about it. I don't want to sell it that badly as these Silverados are too hard to come by. I have thought about putting this truck up on eBay just for kicks and to see what interests it would generate. $7K would have been my reserve on eBay.
I don't know. If you're really serious, lets take this to PM's and go from there. It would be easier for me to live without this truck as long as its not in the same town I'm in so I won't have to see someone else driving it.
Edit: the tranny I replaced the blown one with was a rebuilt with all B&M parts in it along with the aluminum deep pan.
The 454 has hi-po parts thru-out in it, too. Will let you know via PM if you're still interested.
