Have you ever seen the video Snap On made with a comparison of several top brands of boxes? It showed all kinds of distructive testing. In the video it gives Rivet quantity, spot weld quantity, and shows the difference of structure design. Granted this video is made by Snap On so it porbably is bias but if there is truth to the video it tells a story about the quality of a Snap On box for sure.

thats what that page is about. I'm just stopping this now. I am just bored and was watching the videos on the page and having a little chuckle. I'm not sure how testing items in situations they will never encounter in entirely unscientific ways is proving anything. But I am naturally skeptical. Heck when I was taking the class in Matco training about our boxes and I kept questioning everything the teacher said, and even they fed us crappy info.

I never trust testing without numbers. How can you just say "we applied an amount of force to an object until it failed", then said "we applied a similar amount of force to the competitors". To me that screams, bull****, cause for all you know the "similar" force was 1000 ft lbs more.

why delete?

cause its just going to turn into a bias thing. Like I said, some of the random comments in the Snappy videos pissed me off so I wanted input, but I forsee where it will go, so stopping it here.

When you drive around in a truck all day and have no one to talk to but customers, you have lots of random thoughts build up.

Cool, no big deal, I understand. either way I would be happy to buy any top of the line Snap On, Matco, or MAC box. I just chose a Snap On because there just are not that many Matco, or Mac dealers in my area. this area is FLOODED with Snap On trucks on every corner.

Yeah I have 3 Snap-On competitors. I think they may actually be a 4th one too. It is so strange to me the way the Snap-On guys have my town cut into chunks. Buildings directly next to each other can have different Snap-On guys, and its not just squared off. Guess it has something to do with when the businesses started, or the Snap-On guy came around, but I'm unaware of it. I never see another Matco truck, and its not because there are not other guys. Directly East, North, and West of me are Matco guys, we just never cross paths.
