Someone should be all over this. If mine wasn't practically new, I would be. I posted a link to this over on 67-72chevytrucks.com for you. Good luck.

Tony, that you for the PM. I need to find something in really good condition with no hatch, hinge, or latch problems.

no hatch or latch problems?!?

Are there any hard tops around with no problems? I would trade you mine (its black), but I have two rusted broken bolts I still need to extract. Can I ask you two questions, though? One, STC? Are they still making soft tops? How can I get one of those, because that is a great looking soft top.
And two, how did you mount those bars for your rocker panels, cause I have been looking for something like that. To the frame underneath? Did you make them yourself, or buy them somewhere? Have any photos of them close up?
(and if you ever change your mind about the "no problems" rule, I'm ready!) :D

Unfortunately STC no longer makes the top. I don't think anyone makes soft tops anymore for them unless its a custom one.

The Sliders were on it when I got it, but they aren't something that is staying. I will just build something better later on. They are just welded to the frame. They are very similar to Toyota style sliders:

Same wall thickness, that I wouldn't trust to drop a 5000lb rig on, but if they are just for getting in and out and "if" you get into the rocks, then they would do just fine.

No problem, Scotty. The prospect of trading got me off my fat arse and I changed out the handle lock and fixed the broken side latch. It works great now and locks! No more flapping on burnouts (yeah...) Anyway, I almost took it off last Saturday and thought I'd better wait. Mini blizzard Sunday. Colorado... :eek1:

The soft top would have probably been problematic with my full cage anyway. I think I'm going to go see a boat guy when the top's off and see what he thinks. I mentioned I might be getting a bikini and half my family hurled... :)

Good luck,
Tony.
