Would there be a difference in the carriers depending on years?
From what little I know, they are the same but there seems to be a footnote on '84-'85 listings that I have seen. I have one from an '85 with 4:56's but I haven't gotten serious about a selectable for it. I believe I would need to change the gearset to go selectable??

Another thing to check - the 14T has a year break of '88 and older that uses one specific install kit, EXCEPT '84 and '85. '84-'85 has a 1.625" pilot bearing, the other '88 and older 14Ts have a 2.05" pilot bearing. I would need to know that as well to get you an accurate quote.
