Just the stuff I had asked about on that last one you parted. Rear rockers, quarters and rear wheel tubs. You know, all the stuff that rusts on even the solid Suburbans. Stuff that should be available in the aftermarket, but still isn't lol.

Or you could save some labor and replace the while body...

I need a shifter handle for an sm465. Mainly just need the knuckle end of the shifter handle. If you have a broken one laying around that would be awesome I want to build a mad max war rig shifter knob with a knife on a detention spring.

He has a good candidate for you. $200 for the parts plus I'd need to do the cutting. Unlikely to be ready before this trip though. Which would mean fastenal for shipping after the new year and I would need to build a crate.

I'm good with that price range, it's just the shipping that scares me, lol. I'm not in a rush, so whenever it's convenient for you, we can look into it. I can send pictures of desired cut lines too.

Here are a few pics. I'll be getting it as a rolling chassis and body. I could just ship the whole thing for about $1100-1300. A body swap may be a bit cheaper than a quarter replacement at a body shop. But I would suggest getting some measurements from your burb and guess at a crate size (slightly larger than the sections you need) and weight to start getting shipping quotes now.

That looks good and solid for sure.

Not doing a body swap is just me being stubborn. I want to fix the trusty old family Suburban. If I swap the entire body, then it's really not the same truck anymore. But at the same time, it seems silly to cut up a good one to repair a rusty one. I'm always conflicted.

I do all my own bodywork, so I just figure my own time rather than paying a shop.
