Demon or holley

Demon carbs are great...for the 1/4 mile. Holley truck avenger or a q-jet are the best options for a trail truck.

for a daily driver I would still recommend the truck avenger or q-jet. With a demon you would spend lots of money on a great carb that you will never use to its ability. In other words a waste of your money.

The average demon is no better than a holley.

Either a holley Truck Avenger, 3310 (780cfm vac secondary) or Q-jet would be best.

common mistake made by many. I had a q-jet that worked great, sold it, bought a crap edelbrock.

I got a demon on mine. Cant complain. I had a vac secondary on it and the secondaries started sticking. I had had it for a yr and a half, sent it back to them expecting to have to pay to have it fixed as their warranty is 90 days. I got it back from them with a new baseplate and an invoice showing amount owed as 0.00.

I've had a Q-jet, edelbrock 600, and demon 625 and 725. I didn't know how to tune the q-jet. So I have no real feedback there.

The edelbrock is a great beginner carb, if you're new and want a basicly drop and go carb. They're the one.

The demon is equal to a holley...the main bore area is different, the bowls and parts interchange. I like my demons, once I jetted them correctly and put spring needle/seats they work great. I used holley parts btw.

I've heard good things about the truck avenger though, with the anti spill thingy.
