Dent repair

I have a nice dent on the passenger door, it was present when I bought the truck. I was just quoted about $350-400 to fix it.
Seems high and more than I want invest in a dent, seems a replacement door would be cheaper. Honestly, the dent doesn't bother me, adds character I guess.

But is that price fair for a mobile dent repair? Truck is dirty it's been raining dirt and water here in AZ

You could slide a deflated basketball inside the door and slowly re-inflate. A little bit of work on the "eyebrow" of the dent with a body hammer should get most of it out. Really, if that quote is for mobile PDR I'd say that is a fair price and probably cheapest option to have a straight door that doesn't need paint. A new door will cost you more...

Cool, thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I may wait a paycheck or two and have it done. It would be nice to not have the dent but.

Suction cup from harbor freight and a little hammer work.

Price seems about right really. You want a skilled guy to come to your house with a truck full of tools to fix a dent. Time to get there, time to fix it, time to get home. Tank of gas costs $100 these days.

I'd go with the mobile PDR guy myself...those guys can do some amazing work nowadays.
