OK, so not a K5, but its what weve got (and better than our HMMWVs)

3.0 intercooled turbo diesel Toyota Hilux!
beefy bumpers with 18K winches, IED jammers, IR driving lights, all types of comms from LOS to SATCOM, chipped, exhaust, K&Ns, beadlocks, light lift, armored rockers, etc. Not too shabby, I prefer these to the HMMWVs big time, and these have way better a/c!

unfortunately, yes. If there was one thing I wish I could bring home, its this truck. These things are great, even with 4 of us in there, and our gear, plus the added weight of the equipment weve had added on the trucks, they still get down and party. If I could even find a way to score the driveline and swap it into a US truck, Id do it in a heartbeat!

haha, southern philippines for JSOTF-P, TF SULU. Littleton? Youre not up at Carson with 10th are you?

is the "Optional doggy hybrid backup power" any good? I hear they make a mess and tend to chase after cats/ other cars. opinions?

nice ride, seems like the whole word laughs at us and our gasoline powered cars.

Nice.

There were a dozen or so diesel LHD foreign market SFA HiLux Crewcabs sitting in the SO lot when I started here. All got loaded up and disappeared. Think they were a different variant from yours though.

I'd love to have one of those. I loved my Taco with the 4.0L but I'd much rather have the diesel. I've seen a couple running around in underground mines. Not sure how they got them or why really, but I'd like to find out.

bear with me here, because the internet only works once in a blue moon here, but heres shots of the F&R bumpers on the HiLux's.

the front bumpers could stand to be a little better looking as far as the tube goes, but Im actually thinking something like the rear would look pretty good on my K5...

Bet the front is stout though.

Kinda dig the rear. Looks like the way folks used to make rear bumpers 10 years ago before everyone was boatsiding or cutting off the lower hanging portions of the fenders.

They're pretty much like the older Tacomas, before the US market ones got fat.

Not easily or cheaply. Think there's a date they have to be older than too.
