Desert Off-Road Trip 2015: White Rim Trail & Lockhart Basin

Just read through the thread and watched all of the videos. Very nice write up and pictures. Yours is probably my favorite truck on the site. Thanks for sharing it all with us.

Thanks for the comments guys! Glad you all enjoy reading this type stuff :waytogo:

This, this, and this. I love these threads. Your K10 and the big orange Suburban are what brought me to CK5, what talked me into building an expedition rig instead of a street truck, and what keep me focused on the eventual goals for said truck.
And probably an influence on us coming out through your area last summer (and again for another round in a few weeks!).

Keep it up. I'll keep reading these threads as often as you post them. :thumb:

If you pass through my area again let me know and we’ll try to meet up.

We are planning to be in CO springs on Monday, 6/29/2015, to meet up with
Wade and see Pike's Peak. Monday evening or Tuesday we will head out to Ouray to see Lawrence again. We could meet up in CO Springs or Pueblo or anywhere else along the route.

Details in this thread.

A few more pictures surfaced from my buddy Don . Don has the nicely done 80 series Toyota.

This was one of the water storage ponds on the Potash mines property. The water was pretty sketchy looking but made for a nice picture

Not long after this picture was taken we had a small river flowing right through our camp under the fire in a can and table. It was crazy

Its ironic Don got a picture of me reaching for a beverage on the last night of Lockhart Basin as I was a hurting unit later that night. I think that 15th beer had botulism or something because it made me awfully sick that night. The first 14 or so tasted just fine :dunno:

That’s it unless one of the other guys pops up with some pictures :dunno:
