Just wanted to extend an invitation to join us at the SCORE-Primm race on Sept. 9th. We'll be battling the championship winning Bronco with our Blazer. www.rafforacing.com

Those Moss boys are tough competition. Here's to hoping y'all can whup up on 'em a little bit. Of course I feel sort of bad since I've got a pic of that Bronco hung up above my work desk. Maybe I can get a pic of your K-5 to put up next to it:D

Wow thats a sweet blazer. Where is this truck located? I'd love to see it in person. Im from Des Plaines, real close to arlington heights. Ive got a 79 2wd k5 that i was thinkin about turning into a prerunner some day.

thats a sweet blazer, i wish i had some spare time because that isnt too far of a drive, good luck at the race!

"watch for some strong competition from the Chris Raffo/Stephen Watson solid-axle K5 blazer"

So THAT'S what Stephen's been up to....

Desert racing is VERY addicting---and about 50 times more difficult/harsher/demanding/etc than crawling.

I tell you what my next personal project is a "go fast"

chevy fullsize 2wd stepside, long travel front, 4 link rear, happy 350----OH YEAH!!!

good luck guys

The truck is currently in San Diego, but normally it would be in the Merced area. I used to tow it back and forth between Ill. and Baja, but I have partnered with a friend of mine in California.

Good luck representing the k5's out there!
Hope your front axle is trussed! :doah:  :rotfl:

It has actually been parted out and most of it is in Mexico, the motor is still here in Sasn Diego - but I'm not saying where.:haha:

P.s. I also sold the Dually and trailer to some guy from Cabo, said he didn't need a tilte, go figure...

You are a sick man! Did you remove the five grand I had in a cigar box under the front seat of the dually first?

So THAT'S what Ramsey's been up to. :haha:

Ramsey, I might give you a call and try to come by and look at those fenders on your blazer some time...if I ever get this thing smogged and into build stage..:doah:

The truck is being modified by Baja Blazer. We are adding new front springs from Deaver that are 3" longer behind the axle and 17" stroke shocks. Last race we added a set of new aluminum heads that were massaged by Dennis Chencharick at D&L Automotive in PA. They really woke the motor up. It's fun to drive.
