Desperately need a measurement big block guys and big caddy guys

From the water pump pulley face to the furthest forward crossmember in your K5 can somebody please help me out here?

I got 1.5" from the crank pulley to the first x-member. I have a '92 454 with the single belt, ORD motor mounts, and missouri off-road engine x-member. Oh ya, no body lift.

Water pump was no where near the crossmember, unless you had a HUGE body lift.

I can get my caddy measurments soon, but I'll warn you I shoved my 472 WAY back into my firewall, I even trimmed a bit. Most have trouble clearing the oil filter on the x-member, and mine wasn't anywhere near touching.

So you want a horizontal measurment fromt he front face of the water pump pulley, to the nearest x member below it?
