destroying a rust free K5

Destroying anything for sake of YouTube views is not ok in my book. I won’t give it a view and reward the dope for doing something stupid.

That’s how clowns like whistling diesel develop into full blown idiots doing stuff to shock and piss people off for destroying stuff.

I choose not to feed the dipshits in that way.

I have to say that I destroyed a rust free k5. But I did it over a 17 year period. And when I started, they were not worth anything.

I will not click on any of the destruction videos when old rides of any kind are involved.

I'm surprised how well the fiberglass top held. I've seen a K5 roll over and the fiberglass top was crushed.

I don't watch these either.
You click they win.

He still destroyed less rust free K5s than Cash for Clunkers did...

I'm not excusing him, and i fully agree its mostly click bait. A good part of it is brand affiliation and trolling too, as it's pretty clear the douche is a Ford man through and through.

It happens all the time, people destroy stuff that they don't care about. It has always happened, but now social media makes it easier for everyone to see.

I won't click on it, mostly because I don't want similar stuff popping up in my suggestions.

Oh cash for clunkers was the worst.
It was the first step towards getting rid of the reliable years of cars under pretext of gas guzzling.

Cash for clunkers was the end of squares in the boneyard by me, (northern Illinois)

Lucky to even see any nowadays

I’d be willing to bet salt/rust destroyed more squares in your area than cash for clunkers did.

On my trip though southern Colorado and Utah last month I counted just over 50 squarebody trucks on the side of the road. We saw less than 5 were running down the road. I found 8 squarebody medium duty trucks sitting besides barns and ranches too.
