detent cable

Found out my detent cable was broke . Its the cable from the transmission t the bottom of the carb. will one off a later year work on my blazer? The parets store only goes back to a 73 and it merasures 42.178 inches I guess thats about 42 1/8. Or anybody know a part # for theses?

LMC carries the detent cable. Not sure what they want for it though.

Man I spent half of last week on that same chase, napa, checker, advanced auto, parts warehouse, nobody could come up with anything, So I just pushed mine back together, (it just pulled apart) good luck

I have a brand new spare for my 72 blazer with a th350 I will sell you. I brought it then I did not need it.
