I remember an 8.2L being a V8, and that sure looks like a V6. I'm thinking 6V53, too.

The 8.2 is a V8 it looks like an overgrown 6.2

Its an overgrown something but nothing worth keeping ( the 8.2). Used to work for a guy who bought one brand new in 1983 and in 2 years detroit overhauled it for free under warraunty 3 or 4 times. When he sold it the odometer only had 40k miles on the truck. He was so pissed at that truck.....
