Putting 513s in so a great time to lock it up. We spent 3 hrs today only to find out we had the wrong cases in both axles, they were 456 down cases ( I went to 4wp gage all my info).
What's the 14 bolt 456 up case locker number? not the drop in.
What's the Dana 60 locker number?
Yes I have searched the 18 pages on summit and many other places. I would just like numbers to punch in and see who has them in stock.
Thanks for any help

14ff is only for open carrier .

what gear did you get for 14ff in the 5.13 ? thick = 4.10 down carrier thin = 4.56 up carrier . most all aftermarket is for thick = 4.10 down .

front should be a full Detroit carrier and most gears are carrier split specific . same 4.10/4.56 split. some tho are now offering thick cut front from some internet chatter I heard.

and SCREW 4wp they suck . been beat to death here years ago . look up randys ring and pinion . great site for info .

EDIT : FOUND MY OLD INFO THREAD ON 14FF I.D. https://ck5.com/forums/threads/14-bolt-full-float-carriers-i-d-info.151608/

I'm pretty sure they both are thick gears I told them what gears I had before I ordered them. I saw the 60 Detroit case, is the drop in the only option for the 14 bolt?
Thanks for the help

like I said above 14ff is ONLY a drop in . it works just fine for years and even in military trucks.

dana 60 front gm is 35 spline.

front 60 Detroit 4.10/down = 225s-29b
front 60 Detroit 4.56/up = 225s-29a

these 2 part #'s off randys ring and pinion .

post up part#'s of the ring/pinions you got and detroits you got .

and by some chance you got a 14ff with a gov loc posi you WILL need a open carrier to replace it as detroits never got installed in them ever .
