i currently have this setup in my 14bolt ff. i've read the other day that they recommend not to use synthetic oils with this app. how many have this setup? if so do you like it. whats a good heavy duty non-synthetic that you would recommend?

You don't want to use synthetic with clutch type limited slips, but a truetrac is an all gear limited slip, I would run synthetic in it if you want.

Agreed... The TrueTrac is a torsional unit with no clutches so I'd run synthetic in it.

I've run them in the past and am a firm believer in them. I sold my last one to a friend for reasons too long to explain but I hate the fact that I have to replace it now.

I will replace it with another TruTrac though withoug a doubt.

I ran one in a Camaro I built, what a great diff. I believe it specs a 75-90 weight with a GL5 rating (not sure, it's been a few years now). You can use synthetic without issue.

sweet i was wanting to run that amsoil severe gear fluid, i just saw that article about the fluid recently & did not want to mess it up.
