Trying to determine if my EGR is is faulty on a 91 Jimmy 5.7. It’s an “N” model no. With it off the truck and hooked up to a vacuum pump, should I be able to pull vacuum? Mine current one doesn’t hold when I try.
I’ve pulled vacuum from the solenoid port in the front (from the throttle body), it held 20” and when grounding the diagnostic port and turning on the ignition, it lost vacuum which the manual says it should. After that I’m having trouble following the troubleshooting steps. This is all in an attempt to solve the 32 code.
