Diagnosing friends car

Hey all, I have a friend with an oldsmobile Alero. She says when she starts it, it sounds like there is a plastic bag underneath. That is till it warms up, then it goes away. I havent seen the car cuz she is about an hour and a half away. thanks for any help

check the cat and see if the heat sheild rusted out the rivets or welds
