So I have been needing a car hauler for a while now to haul my LJ behind my RV/truck and any other vehicle hauling needs. I wanted something that wasn't a gazillion pounds but still able to carry a reasonable amount and was built well.

I probably looked for 6 months before I settled on Diamond C. It has been ordered and will be here in April.

Since I had to order it, I made sure to get it exactly how I wanted.

18'
Metal deck
6k lb axles
Metallic grey
Spare mount and matching spare

I'll make sure to post pics when it arrives.

I would be interested to hear the specs on your LJ, @nvrenuf has one also.

I bought my LJ in Jan of '08 with 29k on it. It was exactly what I wanted. Impact orange, manual and bone stock.

Specs today:

4" lift

37" Falken MT's on Hutchinson Rock Monsters (JK w/ 5x5 pattern)

Currie Rock Jock front axle w/ JK C's and knuckles, RCV's, Detroit and 4.88's (the Currie housing is pretty damn stout and well worth the money over a stock JK axle)

Stock rear D44 housing with Detroit, aftermarket shafts and 4.88's and spacer/wheel adapters to match the front

Banks turbo

AX-15 (when the 6 speed took a dump, I swapped the 5 speed in)

SYE NP231 (Atlas is coming since the 4.88's and 37's don't really play that well together in the rocks)

Savvy aluminum bumpers and sliders

The only thing I really need to do is put in a legit cage, better seats and an Atlas. The rear axle does fine but it does concern me. If I ever replace it and I think about it often, it will get a Hi9.

I DD it pretty regularly. Runs great with the turbo on the highway with 4.88's and when I'm cruising through the hill county, it's just awesome. I entertained a LS/Hemi swap but after driving in another Banks 4.0 equipped LJ, I was sold. I still have that tractor idle quality when it the rocks and all the power I need to hold the speed limit on the highway.

I am looking forward to getting the trailer so I can take the family in the RV wheeling. The LJ really isn't up to the task of toting my wife, 2 kids and gear everywhere, especially for overnights.

I bought mine 8 years ago today; February 14 2014. it is an 04. it is the silver one on the right. in the video above was shortly after I got it. this is what it looks like now.

Here's 2 pics of the new trailer. It really does look good. There's a few small things that I need to get ahold of my dealer about and I'll explain in a later post but I wanted to share a few pics now.

Looks good. and heavy. What's that thing weigh unloaded?

Here you go. It is a little heavier than I was hoping. I was hoping for around 2100lbs. I had planned on towing my LJ behind my motorhome with this but the weight is getting a little heavier than I feel comfortable with but it's still within the rating so I would be fine. I just like to play things a little safe.

A little video I made. I have a few more I'm gonna make talking about it since there's not a lot of info out there about it.
