Did all the '73-'87 LWB pickups have 56" springs in the rear?

I looked under my truck today and thought they drilled 2 sets of holes for the rear shackle hanger on LWB trucks. The only set I have is the one that the shackle hanger is bolted to, no second set.

I'll probably measure the springs tomorrow during the day but I was just curious...

I'll add this, there is a marked change in ride quality between similar gvw trucks.. like 52s being bad to 56s being acceptable on the same rig.. imho

All 73-87 1/2T pickups got 52's. With the exception of F44 C10s

All 76-91 1 ton pickups got 56's. 77*-91 K/V30/3500 and 73-91 C/R30/3500

73-87 3/4T trucks are a mixture of 52's and 56's C6P (HD chassis) and higher GVW 20 series got the 56s where standard GVW 20 series got 52s.

;)
